Our La Cueva girls golf team went up to Farmington, New Mexico, and took the gold! They played at Pinon Hills for two days and this is their second year in a row winning state and third in the last five years. The seven girls that played were: Victoria and Caroline Jamharian, Kennedi Rose, Eleanna Carris, Reasyn Romero, Mackenzie Balduini, and Lola Lucero.
“The first day we went we were actually losing to Cleveland,” Kennedi Rose said. “But, the second day we came back and played better.”
Victoria Jamharian won second individually and almost got first by three strokes. The team won by 14 strokes.
Great job to our girl golfers for doing amazing and hard work to represent La Cueva!
