The Varsity Volleyball team ran over to collect their trophy from winning the district championships.

After winning the first two sets of the game, the 2015 La Cueva varsity volleyball team knew they had the third set and district championship in the palms of their hands. The team finished off their season undefeated, winning 19 games.

“Gratitude is the first word that comes to mind,” said senior Abby Stomp, setter. Coming off of the big win of district brings excitement to each member of the team for the beginning of the state.

“I’m just looking forward to this week and hopefully putting 2015 on the wall for state champs,” said sophomore Annabelle Kubinski, middle blocker. The varsity volleyball team has been preparing since the beginning of the season for this week and are confident that they will be successful. They are ready to win.
