In the year leading up to a Presidential election, the field is flooded with nominees. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike compete for the attention of our country’s citizens. This year the hopefuls have been especially diverse, with non-political candidates such as business mogul Donald Trump and neurosurgeon Ben Carson, as well as candidates steeped in politics like Jeb Bush, Scot Walker, Bernie Sanders, and Hillary Clinton.
Unsurprisingly, the later has been embroiled in political scandals, such as Hillary Clinton’s campaign servers and her misuse of her emails. The Republican field, in particular, has been filled with confusion, political incorrectness, and in Trump’s case, downright racism.
This has allowed political underdogs such as Scot Walker for the Republicans, and Bernie Sanders for the Democrats, to enjoy a surge in polls.
According to National Public Radio reporter Domenico Montenaro, “Outsiders have surged” also. “Ben Carson is consistently in second place, and Carly Fiorina qualified for Wednesday’s top-tier debate stage” among Republican candidates.
After seeing this information in favor of Bernie Sanders, I think I’ll move to France.

I found this very helpful in informing me about the upcoming presidential elections. It’s such a great way of putting such a good amount of information in such a small form.
