Arizona Travelogue

By Rachel Habing | LIFESTYLES WRITER

Starring out the window of a car at seemingly endless patches of dry, brown weeds may not be the most exciting activity in the world, but is definitely worth it to reach Phoenix, Arizona.

Phoenix is the perfect spring break or even three day weekend spot. The hotel I stayed at was the Arizona Grande and it was absolutely beautiful. There are pools by every building of rooms and even a water park! There are sometimes children’s movies playing during the night at the water park which is a great family activity for all ages.  My favorite part of the hotel was the many palm trees – They are everywhere! There are palm trees at the entrance of the hotel and all over the grounds. The walkway of palm trees is breathtakingly beautiful. Looking up, it is like a ceiling of palm leaves and it is easy to feel a tropical vibe. The Rustler’s Rooste restaurant is within walking distance from the Arizona Grande and is a great place for family dinners. There is a slide in the restaurant and great food too!
